01 / cONNECTION

My love for human connection and emotion is at the heart of my photography. I take the time to truly get to know my couples so that a foundation of trust is already in place before the wedding day. The images that feel most authentically you are the ones that will be cherished most from your wedding celebations.

02 / HUMANITY

Photographing life’s joyful moments and the many forms of human connection, creating images meant to be cherished for generations. With an unobtrusive style, I document emotional relationships as they naturally unfold.

Bringing calmness to your wedding day, I help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera while adding humour, joy, compassion, and kindness to every moment. My approach is intentional and respectful, ensuring your wedding photographs reflect exactly what matters most to you..

03 / CALMNESS

photo of Natalie Lucy

I’m an old soul at heart, drawn to genuine connection, calm energy, and meaningful moments.

I take the time to truly know my couples so the wedding day feels comfortable, natural, and full of trust. My focus is on capturing emotional, honest interactions in an intentional and unobtrusive way—images that feel everlasting, heartfelt, and true to who you are.

Starting photography using film my work has always reflected calmness, and intention, capturing sincere connections with compassion and kindness. No awkward posing, I love to give my couples time and space to be together, capturing raw emotions. I love to portray human connection and emotion in my work.

I am a lover of old movies, art history and romance novels and a slower pace in life with dog walks and roast dinners by the fire

Natalie, I am so emotional!!! I don’t have the words to describe how incredible they are, my jaw is on the floor. You captured every moment so perfectly; I am so grateful for you. Incredible, amazing, fantastic doesn't even scratch the surface. You allowed me to be full present in the moment and to enjoy the day. We will cherish these incredible photos forever. The photos are better than I could ever imagine.

“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music that you have heard, the people you have loved.”

Ansel Adams

Film photography has a look that digital will never be able to encapsulate, it gives an old world charm, organic look which shows all the imperfections, which makes this medium so beautiful.

Film creates an nostalgic look and probably makes you remember a time in your life where film photographs were passed down from generation to generation.

Film will always hold a special place in my heart, this is how I learnt and started my photography journey back in Art college. Film makes me be more intentional about how I photograph and how I see the world. It allows me to be present with my couples giving my time for my couples to feel relaxed in front of the camera.

I offer film as an extra on my wedding day packages.
